What is Fire & Flower?

Fire & Flower is a charity that provides transformative programs to empower girls and non-binary youth in their INCREDIBLE rite of passage into young adulthood.

Around the world and throughout history, societies recognized the rite of passage from youth to adulthood as a sacred and critical time, and guided youth through the process with mentorship and wisdom. Today, this has been lost and there has never been a harder time to be a young person, with mass and social media producing a constant feed of harmful messages and images.

Fire & Flower is reviving ‘a village’ of women supporting youth as they come of age. We empower self-identified girls and non-binary youth ages 10-14 in a  LGBTQ2SIAP+ inclusive environment.

Through mentorship, community-building, and nature-connection, participants build confidence and pride in adulthood, discover their personal power, and develop resilience to engage their future.

“When girls are given our time and presence to discover who they are, they unfold into the safety of themselves. This wisdom needs to be brought back into our communities – it is time.”

Donate to the Movement!

We are happy to issue tax receipts for all donations.
Help ALL girls and non-binary youth know their own radiance as they become young women/adults. We are raising funds to support families and help run our organization. Many parents tell us, “This is just what my child needs right now,” but they do not have the financial means to participate. We receive many inquiries from BIPOC families (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) as well single-parent households. Your donation really makes a difference. Thank you for your generosity.
